Ann Sharkey

Ms. Sharkey is a managing director for CarVal Investors.  Based in London, Ms. Sharkey is responsible for managing individual corporate credit investments in the U.K. and Western Europe.  Prior to joining CarVal Investors in 2011, Ms. Sharkey was a director for Citigroup, covering key European and U.S. distressed investors.  Ms. Sharkey also previously served as Head of Research for the European arm of Citigroup’s Global Special Situations Group, an internal buy-side fund.  In 1997, she began her career with Merrill Lynch sellside, specializing in investing in European distressed companies.  Ms. Sharkey earned a B.A. International Degree in Economics from the University College Dublin, Ireland.
