Christopher Hedberg

Mr. Hedberg is managing director and head of capital formation and investor relations for CarVal Investors, responsible for leading all capital markets activities, including investor relations, fund financing strategy and fund liquidity. He also leads the firm’s relationship management efforts with partners providing debt and equity capital to CarVal. Mr. Hedberg joined Cargill in 1996 and has held a variety of financial management positions. Most recently, he led financing and liquidity management for the firm. Prior to that, he served as global controller for CarVal’s credit business where he led trade operations and financing activities worldwide. Prior to joining CarVal Investors, Mr. Hedberg was with Dain Bosworth and RAF Financial Corporation. Mr. Hedberg received his MBA from the University of St. Thomas and his bachelor of science in finance magna cum laude from the University of Colorado.
