Shane Huether

Mr. Huether is a managing director for CarVal Investors. He is responsible for managing investments in residential mortgage assets, including mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities and loans. He also manages positions in commercial mortgage backed securities and collateralized loan obligations for the firm. Prior to joining CarVal Investors in 2008, Mr. Huether was with ResCap as a portfolio manager of RMBS, ABS, CMBS and residential mortgage loans. He also worked with AXA Investment Managers as a Senior Structured Securities analyst. He received his B.S. in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
