Mr. Buffi is a director for AB CarVal, responsible for sourcing and managing investments in European loan portfolios. Prior to joining AB CarVal in 2019, Mr. Buffi was with Oaktree where he managed investments in performing and non-performing loan portfolios across Europe. He also previously held investment roles with Värde Partners and Bear Stearns in London. Mr. Buffi started his career in Milan, where he held consulting and investment roles in the private equity industry. Mr. Buffi received his degree in economics and business, cum laude, from the University of Siena. Mr. Buffi is fluent in Italian.
