James Ganley

Mr. Ganley is a managing principal and member of the Investment Committee for AB CarVal, responsible for leading the firm’s investment strategy and management. In addition, he leads risk and portfolio management across AB CarVal’s credit funds and investments globally. Prior to joining AB CarVal in 2009, Mr. Ganley was a managing director for the Special Situations Group at Goldman Sachs in Europe where he focused primarily on corporate credit investments including distressed credit, high-yield credit, event-driven investing and liquidations. Mr. Ganley received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and his B.S. in finance and accountancy from Villanova University and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
