Roger Newkirk

Mr. Newkirk is a managing director for AB CarVal, responsible for investment strategy, management and trading investments in corporate securities. Prior to joining AB CarVal in 2015, Mr. Newkirk most recently was an executive director at UBS Securities LLC, responsible for the emerging market corporate trading business. He also worked as a director for Barclays Capital focusing on emerging market credit and derivatives trading. Mr. Newkirk received his M.B.A. in finance from Columbia Business School and a B.B.A. in finance and real estate from the University of Cincinnati. In addition, he is a CFA Charterholder.
